1-1/2 cups raw cashews (soaked in boiling water for 30 minutes)

½ cup nutritional yeast

½ cup water

2 tbsp flaxseed oil

½ tsp cayenne pepper

½ tsp. chipotle powder

½-1 tsp garlic powder

Sprinkle of black pepper

Pink salt to taste


  1. Drain your cashews and add them to a high-speed blender along with all the other ingredients, except for the water.
  2. Slowly add the water as everything becomes incorporated, you’ll need to stop and scrape down the sides of the blender every so often.
  3. Adjust salt and spices to your desired liking
  4. To serve hot, microwave or heat on the stovetop. Equally delicious served cold.

Perfect as a spread on bread or crackers and delicious as a dip with veggies, or grilled vegetables, chips – or literally anything else!
